On December 29, 2015 launching ceremony of the first of the two modern double-ended car-passenger ferries took place at Remontowa Shipbuilding.
It was the last one in this year and 1002 launching of a 70-years history of Remontowa Shipbuilding.
The contract for the construction of the two ferries is realized as a result of the tender announced by the Owner in 2014. Selecting of REMONTOWA SHIPBUILDING was caused by high quality of offered vessels, experience in construction passenger ferries as well as good reputation enjoyed by shipyard among European and American Owners.
Contracted ferries will be the most advanced diesel–electric driven vessels operating in the water of Baltic Sea. The vessels will be also prepared for future upgrade for LNG Single or Dual Fuel propulsion.
