Next, multipurpose Platform Supply Vessel is leaving Remontowa Shipbuilding S.A.

On Thursday, 31st of May 2012 the Christening Ceremony of the second from the series B 852 built for the one of the biggest Owner in Singapore took place in REMONTOWA SHIPBUILDING. The first one which left our Shipyard two months ago is serving the west coast of Africa. After traditional breaking down of the champagne bottle, the vessel was named “Lewek Aquarius”.

Both vessels built according to MMC Ship Design & Marine Consulting Ltd design , are multipurpose offshore supply vessels with Anchore Handling function.
Equipped with fully redundant IMO Class 2 dynamic positioning system, besides satisfying general demands of the offshore industry like carriage of liquid mud, dry cargoes, fuel, drill water and fresh water in bulk and various deck cargo these ships have more features giving them flexibility of operations like any other.
Thanks to structural stainless steel tanks equipped with hydraulic driven submerged pumps , fixed deck foam system and nitrogen as inert gas installation – methanol and other dangerous goods can be carried in safe manner.
With its hybrid propulsion solution vessel offers cost efficient operations, with power reserve enabling anchor handling & towing operations to offshore facilities.

Another function of B 852 series is performing standby rescue operations – which combined with installed onboard FiFi Class 1 system and oil recovery capability makes great vessel in case of any emergency situation onsite offshore installations. All of the above makes B 852 ultimate offhsore vessels for worldwide services.
