Remontowa Shipbuilding SA consistently implements its plans

Remontowa Shipbuilding S.A. acting within Remontowa Holding consistently implements plans. The next, Platform Supply Vessel designed to support offshore industry was delivered to the Owner at the end of January.

The vessel was built for one of the biggest worldwide offshore fleet Owners. The christening ceremony of this vessel took place on Wednesday, 5thof February 2014. According to the custom of the Owner, vessel was named one of the species of African antelopes – GEMSBOK.

It is already sixth one from the presently constructed series.

The same day – the eight of the same series vessel, was launched in Remontowa Shipbuilding. After completing construction process and carrying out complex sea trials, the vessel will be delivered to the Owner in July this year.

All vessels from this series – both, already delivered to the Owner as well as being under construction ones, are designed for towing and carriage of dry, liquid and heavy cargoes necessary to serve drilling platforms. Thanks to the most modern technical solutions and full automation of the vessels they will belong to the biggest and most multipurpose in their class.

The vessels are being built under supervision of Classification Society – American Bureau of Shipping according to the project elaborated by MMC Ship Design & Marine Consulting Ltd from Gdynia / Poland.
