
We are very pleased to announce that our shipyard Remontowa Shipbuilding S.A. has been selected by the Scottish ship owner Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited (CMAL) to execute a prestigious contract for the construction of seven electric ferries.
In a competitive tender in which six invited shipyards from different countries, our bid received the highest score after a thorough evaluation of the technical and financial criteria. This confirms our competence, experience and innovative approach in building modern vessels. vessels.
The ferries ordered will be equipped with electric propulsion, which will significantly reduce CO2 emissions, contributing to more sustainable shipping. The vessels will operate between Scotland’s picturesque islands, including those in the Hebrides archipelago region.
We plan to deliver the first ferry in 2027. What’s more, in this year CMAL plans to award a tender for the delivery of three further vessels in the second phase of the project – and of course we intend to take part!
